RAMIN – THE STUNNING DEBUT ALBUM OUT NOW
Ramin doesn’t look like your average Olivier-nominated musical theatre superstar - playing roles including Jean Valjean in Les Miserables which he is currently starring in and as the iconic Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera, including the 25th anniversary spectacular at the Royal Albert Hall - and that’s because he is so much more than you would expect.
He has an arm full of tattoos – everything from trees to angels to poetry – and a trilby straight from Shoreditch. He looks more like someone from Red Hot Chili Peppers that you never noticed before. He is stunning, with looks somewhere between Latin matinee idol and ruggedly handsome Brando-esque actor and his voice is amazing- a thing of natural wonder, but while it can often blow the roof off, it can also, crucially, do understatement as well.
His debut album ‘Ramin’ is out now. Produced by Tom Nichols (Celine Dion, Hayley Westenra) it’s a diary entry from one of the world’s great vocal talents that includes not only his own compositions but covers of Bryan Adams and Muse songs, his take on the mighty Music of the Night from The Phantom of the Opera as well as brand new material from music’s top songwriters like Ryan Tedder (Leona Lewis’ Bleeding Love).
